This site is dedicated to my adventures in poetry and music.
My poetry journey originated over 30 years ago as a dream-filled hopeless romantic teenager. However, I began to take it more seriously in 2017 with help from other poets at writeoutloud. From there, I began performing at open mic poetry readings and now as a published author. My poetry spans from relationships, travel, nature, to mental health. My first book, Coffee Shop Sessions: Whatever It Takes Even If It Doesn’t Take, debuted in 2018. The follow-on was released in 2020, and the final book in the series was released in 2021. See my store for more information on how to obtain copies.
You can find my poems in Clay Literary’s RAVEN magazine, 3 Moon Magazine, The Daily Drunk Mag, Teen Belle Magazine, and Bourgeon (now Mid-Atlantic Review). My poem “In My Pocket” received first place in the Loudoun County Rhyme-On poetry contest in the Love category in 2020.
My poems can also be found in the following anthologies:

What inspires me: Inspirations
My journey is fueled by a multitude of influences, ranging from the serenity of nature to the vibrant heartbeat of bustling cities. Each cup of coffee shared with friends serves not just as a drink but as a catalyst for creativity, sparking conversations that ignite new ideas. I find deep inspiration in the art of storytelling, both in literature and through the visual medium. Observing the resilience in personal stories reminds me of the power of perseverance and hope. Additionally, the rhythm of music—be it a soulful melody or an upbeat tune—acts as a backdrop to my thoughts, guiding my reflections and fueling my passions. Embracing these diverse elements, I am continually motivated to explore new horizons, challenge my limits, and share my journey with others who seek their own inspirations.
