This site is dedicated to my adventures in poetry and music.
My poetry journey originated over 20 years ago as a dream filled hopeless romantic teenager. However, I began to take it more seriously in 2017 with the help from other poets at writeoutloud. From there I began performing at open mic poetry readings and now as a published author. My poetry spans across topics including relationships, travel, nature, and mental health. My first book, Coffee Shop Sessions: Whatever It Takes Even If It Doesn’t Take, debuted in 2018. The follow on released in early 2020 and the final book in the series released in early 2021. My work has also been published in Clay Literary’s RAVEN magazine, 3 Moon Magazine, The Daily Drunk Mag, Teen Belle Magazine, and Bourgeon. I was also the recipient of the First Place award in the Loudoun County Rhyme-On poetry contest in the Love category in 2020 for the poem “In My Pocket“.
